The Kenya Government


The Kenya government includes the following organs.

1. The President is the Chief Executive, he is also the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic

2. Cabinet Ministers (Prime Minister and Two Deputies)

3. National Assembly
It is the Legislature, charged with making of Laws

4. The Judiciary
Charged with administration of justice, interpretation of laws and judicial matters

5. The State law office
It is headed by the Attorney General as the principal legal adviser to the Government

Other Organs Include:

6. Public service Commission

This organ is in charge of recruitment of civil servants and the local authorities, civil service examinations and occupational tests also are in charge of disciplinary matters of the civil service and local authorities.

7. electoral Commission

They are in charge of boundaries and constitutions, voter registration, directing national and local elections. Also promotion of voter education.

8. The Treasury
Authorization of Issues from Exchequer Account,auditing government accounts, local authorities accounts and also state corporations
